The sixteenth-century Villa PisaniVescovana host from 22 April 20 May an exhibition on the theme of romantic works of the master potter Giovanni Cimatti. L’artista, solitary and silent poet, errant investigator of new pottery techniques, compares his art to the forms of the beautiful garden “Italian” Villa Pisani, creating a blend of natural and artificial, which is the art of creating a garden in every culture. If the garden is seen as a representation of the human capacity to dominate nature, then so is the ceramic, control and because it is the result of four e or elements of medieval alchemy, which are the foundation of the earth itself.
The exhibition consists of works in white porcelain, Gardens of Snow, made with a contamination of paper and clay, and orange, Laghi d'Arancio.The artist, that always works away from the decoration, invents surfaces flooded in liquid clay orange, which uses the same material as the language of color. In the statement will present works from his collection as the Triptych of the Sirens of Ancient Greece Leucosia, Ligea, Partenope, made in 2001 for the inauguration of the new rooms of the Museum of Ferrara Bonacossi.
