Mart in Rovereto presents sculptures by Amedeo Modigliani. A unique event, prepared with scientific rigor, result of six years of research and historical investigation. The Mart presents the exhibition “Sculptor Modigliani”, that from 18 December 2010 the 27 March 2011 will provide the international public the chance to see for the first time an important focus of the sculptures of the great artist from Livorno. Between 1911 and 1913Amedeo Modigliani abandoned painting and devoted himself to sculpture. These are the years in which the artist puts in place an unprecedented synthesis between traditional elements and original figurative accents. Like few other actors of the artistic avant-garde 900, Modigliani captures the charm of history and weaves a personal language.
