Milan,August  2011– CIAL, National Consortium for the Recovery and Recycling of Aluminium, for the first year is Official Partner of the London Film Festival Event organized by the film 'Cultural Association in April of the external group.  

The event, now in its XVI edition, in program In Milan from 9 the 18 September 2011, if svolgerà mainly Strelher Theatre, but many other places will be transformed into movie theaters, eg Sempione Park Civic Aquarium.

A qualified Jury Environment, composed Cristina Gabetti – President of the Jury - Mediaset journalist and host of the book "Eye to Waste" Strip News, Rossella Sobrero – Curator of the Exhibition of Social Responsibility "From Saying to Doing" in Milan, Sonia Cantoni - AMSA President Milan, Bruno Rea and Gino Schiona, President and CEO of CiAl,  assign "CiAl Prize for the Environment ", official award of the Festival,  choosing the film that best addresses the environmental issues and sustainable development.

The awards ceremony will take place during the final evening of the Festival 18 September, at 20.30 at the Teatro Strehler in Milan, operations center of the entire event.

Cinema has always been a major means used by CiAl to communicate and raise public awareness of environmental issues, waste collection and recycling of aluminum. The Consortium, in fact, is an official partner of the Giffoni Film Festival (SA) and festivals Cinemambiente (TO).   

CIAL

The Consortium was founded in CiAl Aluminium Packaging 1997 with the task of initiating the packaging for recycling and recovery of aluminum, the end of their life cycle, from the collection made by the municipalities, thus contributing to the recovery of a valuable raw material, avoiding waste and safeguarding the environment. The Consortium brings together the industrial chain of packaging in aluminum consumption in the country: producers of raw materials, manufacturers and users of packaging. The consortium members, while operating independently, share the role and responsibility to apply the principles of effectiveness, efficiency and economy to achieve the targets set for recycling and recovery of packaging in aluminum defined by the rules.
