Also this year, MiBAC joining the International Women's Day, intended to celebrate the binomial Women and Art: a combination of inspiration for painters, sculptors, musicians and all those who over the centuries have identified the female figure a muse for their work. They are also many women who have been able to express and, firsthand, their artistic talents, overcoming prejudices and social barriers.
Today, the role of women in contemporary society is an increasingly more in the spotlight debate within the social and cultural life of our country. and’ a highly topical theme in the many facets often run the risk of being subject to easy manipulation.
To promote knowledge of the artistic expressions related to this topic, present in many art sites state, MiBAC pays tribute, providing the’Free admission to all women on this day.
